Babys Breath

Against a field of heart
Shaped blue
A Union knits from
Uniquenesss gleened by a billion
Yesterdays before
A baby.
To come so far, only to
Die.
Because the lips could not speak;
So tiny, so alone, so weak.

Thousands added daily to the score,
America seeks another
Door.
An unseen armband
I've seen
it before
On those who claimed
Allegiance to a Super Race
Same outcomes
Just a different court
Given a different face
That door
Reveals another side,
Where Hitler having seen you
Gets up to offer you room
Retorts you are just like him

Creating by law
His self same held conclusion
Kill that your
Way without exclusion
Propagate that
Your body is your own
Though the
bible says it's not
Read the
Paper and wonder why we rot.

Where's homeless denote
An ungodly empire
It's not the enemies
Feared so long
Taxing heavily
Your soul once strong
It's the hand of a
Baby touching your heart
that you sent
To a world apart.

Where angels speak for tiny
Lives, where Christ weeps daily
Where Goodness survives.

Now alone
Your feeling their weight

The time lock of the
Door is engaging final spin

Either you come back to
Gods word
Or,
"You die
Within."
